Simplex Belly Tank Walkaround Gallery

This Simplex belly tank is designed to fit beneath most of the Bell "Huey" helos: 204,205,212,412, UH-1 etc. It is a split tank with two reservoirs that can be emptied at different times and rates. They are a common site during the fire fighting season. They have an integral pump so, to refill, the pilot simply has to hover over any body of water and dunk the pick-up hose to collect water and fill the tank.
