Here is an S-70A Black Hawk walkaround from Avalon in 2007. The Army always puts on a good show at Avalon. Apparently there was a whole ground pounders display on that I missed. I’ll make sure I catch it next time. The Black Hawk has been in Australian service since the late 1980s. They were delivered into the RAAF but within a few months the decision was made to give control of most rotary wing assets to the Army (Much to the Air Force’s disgust). So for a short time they wore RAAF markings before being transferred to Army control. I have only ever seen ADF Black Hawks in two shemes, this wraparound camo and overall white for UN assignments.
