This nice shiny RAAF Fire Tender was on display at Avalon too. Judging by the markings, firefighting is now outserviced too. I am starting to wonder if there are any skills other than flying left in the air force. Training is outsourced, maintenance, weapons procurement, and firefighting. One of my friends was on a RAAF base recently and had trouble spotting an air-force uniform!
