Hirsch H-100 Walkaround F-WGVG le Bourget 2022

It is always fascinating when you find an aircraft in a museum that you did not know existed. This exquisite little twin is on display at Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace, outside Paris. It was a one-off, apparently created to test an elaborate system of active control surfaces that would mitigate the effects of gusts on the aircraft, making flying safer. The system seemed to work, but the project ran out of funds so was not taken any further.
