This Airbus H135 chopper is part of the HATS (Helicopter Aircrew Training Scheme) that the ADF implemented to improve pilot retention and recruiting a few years ago. The first helo employed by HATS was a trio of AW109 Powers. The trial proved a success and the scheme has been rolled out fully.
