RAN AgustaWestland A109E Power Walkaround Gallery

The RAN operates three of these A109E helos for twin-turbine training to get the new pilots up to speed before they jump in a Sea Hawk, Sea King or MRH-90. They are also employed for VIP duties and for flag-waving. That's what this one was doing at the Tyabb airshow on the 4th April, 2012. It was on the way back from Hobart and dropped in for the day. The Navy guys were very obliging in giving me access to photograph it. The A109E was my first serious profile.
