This is the aviation campus of the Deutsches Museum. Here you will find a simply astonishing array of artefacts. You can see original parts of the earliest flying machines right through to recently retired Tornado strike aircraft. Perhaps the most exciting part fro me was seeing the prototypes of the various VTOL test beds from the 1960s and 1970s. This was a remarkable time in aviation development where few costs were spared.
