A85-443 was the subject of a paint scheme trial – The colour scheme from the RAAF Macchi MB326 trainers was applied for evaluation. No other Winjeel carried this scheme in service. It is shown here as it appeared at Point Cook on 4th December, 1975, during that trial. A85-443 later served with No. 76 Squadron on Forward Air Control duties until retired in 1994.
