CA-27 Sabre A94-983

$29.95

A94-983 was one of 112 of this variant of the F-86F Sabre to be built in Australia. The decision to re-engine the F-86F with the Rolls Royce Avon meant a re-engineering of around 60% of the fuselage. The extra power of the Avon over the standard General Electric power plant made this Sabre the fastest variant produced. A94-983 is the last flying CA-27 Sabre. It is operated by Temora Aviation Museum on behalf of the RAAF and appears at many Australian airshows.
