PAC CT-4E Airtrainer NZ1994

The New Zealand-built CT-4 Airtrainer is a fully aerobatic training aircraft developed from the 4-place Victa Aircruiser prototype, itself a development of the successful 2-place Victa Airtourer. The CT-4 has been used as an ab-initio trainer by the airforces of Australia, New Zealand and Thailand. NZ1994, serial number 209, is operated by the Royal New Zealand Air Force. It operates as part of the Red Checkers aerobatic team. It is shown here as it appeared in October, 2012, sporting a special colour scheme commemorating the 75th anniversary of the RNZAF.

The Prints

Grubby Fingers Limited Edition prints are detailed, accurate, high quality and long lasting. The attention to detail in the illustrations and the quality of the print materials mean youwill have an image of aviation history to enjoy for years to come. They make outstanding and appreciated aviation gifts for enthusiasts and pilots. Grubby Fingers aircraft prints are printed in-house at Grubby Fingers. Each print is checked for quality.

The Artwork

Each Grubby Fingers profile is meticulously researched. Many reference images are collected and, where feasible, I study an actual prototype. I talk to aviation historians, manufacturers, operators and relevant organisations. All gathered information is compiled and compared against written references to verify details. Many hours of work are done before I draw the first line and I check each part of the drawing against reference photos as I progress.

The illustrations are high resolution and very detailed. Each illustration is a result of hours of painstaking research and attention to detail.
